Do’s & Dont’s

  • Kindly follow the instructions given by the organizers / guides during the program.
  • Never leave the group without informing the organizers.
  • Do not venture into the forest / wildlife zones alone
  • Do not kindle fire in any form in forest / wildlife zones
  • Always maintain silence , while going for treks and safari drives.
  • Always wear dull colored clothes ( preferably green or brown or black ) and full length pants with proper trekking shoes, while entering wildlife zones.
  • Do not litter in forest / wildlife areas.
  • Carry basic medicines, snacks, water bottle, torch light and a small back pack while going for treks and safari drives.
  • Do not flash torch lights directly in the eye of any animal as it could severely  damage the eye sight.
  • Do not scream / shout or make noise when you spot wildlife.
  • Do not feed wildlife.
  • Do not get into the water bodies without proper instruction.
  • Always be alert and keep yourself physically fit.
  • Please take as many photographs as possible and also make note of the wildlife sighted.
  • No smoking / consuming of alcohol is permitted while going for treks / safari drives.
  • Never venture into the jungle without prior permission from the concerned forest department.
  • The wildlife zones / jungle areas are home to a variety of Flora and Fauna and we should learn to preserve them in its pristine form.
  • Do not panic in-case of emergency and always seek the help of the organizers.
  • Always report any form of illegal activity done in the jungle area to the organizers of the program.
  • Please carry a hand guide book for easy identification of birds / mammals / reptiles / insects / plant species.
  • Do not get down from the safari vehicle unless you are instructed to do so.
  • Most areas only BSNL and Vodafone works, so please carry suitable SIM cards.
  • Please fill-up the required declaration form ( which will be given to you during the program ), necessary for forest permission.
  • No music is allowed in Wildlife zones.
  • Carry a rain coat or umbrella
  • Carry a bed sheet in-case you require one.
  • Eat as much as you want but do not waste food.
  • Clean and boiled water would be provided to you at the place of stay.
  • Please carry a bottle of water with you during the trekking and safari programs.
